ABC stopped Roseanne due to a controversial tweet that came from Roseanne Barr via Twitter. Recently official decision was made by the president of ABC. Roseanne Barr sent an extremely racist tweet aimed at President Obama’s adviser Valerie Jarrett.
“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” President of ABC Dungey Channing said in a statement. The Roseanne’s tweet is facing major backlash and many celebrities personally demanded to end this show.
ABC quickly reacted to it and canceled the show immediately. Roseanne Barr’s controversial views are being criticized by people. Recently Roseanne apologized to the people who are hurt by the racist words.
