Comedian Michelle Wolf recently hosted White House Correspondents’ Dinner and made everyone laugh with her funny jokes. Michelle Wolf roasted Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders with bold remarks.
“I have to say I’m a little star-struck. I love you as Aunt Lydia in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’” Michelle said about the Press Secretary at 2018 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. She said Every time Sarah steps up to the podium, I get excited. I’m not really sure what we’re going to get, you know? A press briefing, a bunch of lies or divided into softball teams. It’s shirts and skins, and this time don’t be such a little b*tch, Jim Acosta.”
“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. But she burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smokey eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies,” Michelle added.
At the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Michelle became the reason of joy and laughs but New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman didn’t appreciate the way Michelle roasted Sarah Huckabee. According to Maggie intense criticism on the physical appearance of Sarah Huckabee is unacceptable.
That @PressSec sat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) April 29, 2018
“Maggie tweeted That @PressSec sat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.” In the response Michelle justified her jokes and said “All these jokes were about her despicable behavior.”
Hey mags! All these jokes were about her despicable behavior. Sounds like you have some thoughts about her looks though? 😘 https://t.co/JRzzvhBuey— Michelle Wolf (@michelleisawolf) April 29, 2018
It is expected that Michelle Wolf may have to face intense backlash because of her bold remarks on Press Secretary.
