Sam Ball turned up to the MAFS dinner party on Wednesday night claiming he had chickenpox.

The tradie, 26, appeared to have red marks on his face but they did not seem to match up with what adult chickenpox is expected to look like – that is, an all-over body rash with painful skin blisters.

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to cast doubt on Sam’s claims, writing: ‘You need antibiotics for your faux chicken pox’, and, ‘There’s apparently a new strain of chickenpox called lizardpox, I’ve heard Sam’s got it.’
